My Latest Car Purchase: 2020 Dodge Durango and 2021 RAM 1500
Yesterday was a thrilling day for me as I ventured into the world of automobile shopping. In this blog post, I’m excited to share with you the details of what I bought, my thoughts on the condition of the vehicles, and my plans for the future.
The Purchases
I ended up buying two exciting vehicles – a 2020 Dodge Durango and a 2021 RAM 1500. Let’s break down the specifics of each one:
2020 Dodge Durango
The Dodge Durango I acquired has 69,000 miles on it. It’s not in perfect condition, but I see a lot of potential in it. I bought this vehicle for about $8,300, which includes the shipping costs to bring it to my location.
Here are some initial observations:
- The front of the vehicle is pretty much missing.
- The interior is quite dirty and cluttered. It definitely needs a good cleaning and some TLC.
Initial Impressions
Despite its current state, I believe that with the right repairs and improvements, this Dodge Durango can be restored to a great condition. The mileage is reasonable, and if the mechanical aspects are sound, it has the potential to be a reliable vehicle.
2021 RAM 1500
The second vehicle I purchased is a 2021 RAM 1500 with 53,000 miles on it. I paid approximately $16,400 for this truck.
Here are some pictures and initial observations:
- The most significant damage is located in the bed of the truck. However, it doesn’t appear to be too severe.
Initial Impressions
Overall, the RAM 1500 seems to be in decent condition despite the damage. Once the necessary repairs are made, I anticipate this truck will be a fantastic addition.
What’s Next?
Both vehicles are currently on their way and should arrive within about a week as they are being transported from out of town. Once they arrive, I plan to conduct a thorough inspection and post videos detailing their condition and the steps I will take to repair them.
Repairs and Updates
I will keep you updated throughout the entire process, from the initial inspection to the final repairs, and parts replacements. I’ll be sharing:
- Step-by-step repair processes
- Parts and tools used
- Costs involved in the repairs
- Before and after videos and photos
Additionally, I am eager to see if these vehicles will be profitable investments. I’ll be tracking all expenses and potential resale values to determine the financial viability of this project.
Conclusion
This journey into buying, repairing, and possibly reselling these two vehicles is just beginning. I’m excited to share every step with you and see how these projects turn out. Whether you’re a fellow car enthusiast or just curious about the process, stay tuned for more updates on my 2020 Dodge Durango and 2021 RAM 1500.
